I am a journalist and photographer currently based in New York City.  I write about technology, politics, global migration, international affairs, finance and economics.

In 2011, I graduated from a masters program in business reporting and interactive journalism at CUNY’s Graduate School of Journalism. Until mid-2010, I lived in Yokohama, Japan where I wrote for the Yokohama Seasider Magazine, Koe Magazine, and the Japan Beer Times. I speak Japanese fluently. I am interested in photography, video, and data visualization. Right now, I am busy studying programming with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

My work has appeared in Business Insider, AM New York, City Limits, WNYC, Minyanville, and the Atlantic Business Blog.
